We have been having problems with the auto updater for a small number of users. If this scenario applies to you, then you will need to unfortunately re-download and install the complete installer from http://chimprewriter.com/download.

Please also make sure you press the submit button on the exception report form so that it sends us information on what actually failed. We use this information to fix bugs in future releases.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused or time lost. Unfortunately it is one of those “bugs” that affects only a select few and our development machines do not fail making it extremely difficult to diagnose and rectify the issue.
